Camping
Free, first-come first-serve BLM camping is plentiful in our valley. Recommended areas to look for sites are: Trail Creek Road, Corral Creek Road, Warm Springs Road, and Lake Creek Road. All are within a 15-minute drive from Ketchum. Developed campsites are also available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a fee at Boundary Campground and Wood River Campground.

From Afar:
Terry’s memorial will take place in Ketchum, Idaho. If you’re traveling from afar, the nearest airports are:
Hailey (SUN) - 15 min. drive
Boise (BOI) - 2.5 hr. drive
Salt Lake City (SLC) - 4.5 hr. drive
Note that cabs and rideshare apps are not reliable in the Ketchum area, so if you’re planning to fly into Hailey and need a ride, many local hotels offer shuttles, or let us know and we will make sure one of Terry’s local friends is able to pick you up. Rental cars are also available.
From Nearby:
River Run Lodge is the base lodge for the Sun Valley Ski Resort. It is a nice 1-mile, 20-minute walk from downtown Ketchum. If you’ll be driving, please park in the Upper or Trail Creek parking lots as the lower lot closest to the lodge will be reserved for the Fire and Medical vehicles accompanying the procession. Sun Valley resort and Limelight Hotel both offer local shuttles which can drop you off at the lodge as well.
